Description: Manhole data is collected using GPS. Elevation data is accurate only to the accuracy of the sub-meter GPS equipment, which is plus or minus ten feet. Elevations noted in the Comment field as being from a survey company would be accurate to the elevation noted.Data in the Layer field that ends in NV denotes a manhole that has not been found (Not Verified) but is believed to be in the vicinity. GP denotes the data was GPS'd, OR means it was digitized from aerial photography.
Description: These are not manholes per se, but are valves, flushing stations, and air vacuum places used to maintain the forcemain sewerlines. Items are collected using GPS equipment and the forcemain lines are adjusted to match the points.
Description: Point data that marks a feature that serves to allow the sewerline to be cleaned. It is generally the end of a sewerline when a manhole is not needed. Data is maintained by the Engineering Specialist.
Description: E-1 pumps are for individual homes/businesses that are on forcemain sewer systems. These pumps are maintained by the City unless they are private. Points are GPS'd unless marked with an NV at the end of the Layer field. Private pumps are marked with PRI in the layer name.
Description: Shows location of forcemain sewerlines. Lines are under pressure from lift stations or E-1 sewer pumps. Lines are drawn from As-built dwgs and GPS locations of airvacs, flush stations, and valves. Maintained by Engineering Specialist.
